The present case study shows the synthesis of a glucuronyl metabolite of Soraprazan (ALTANA Pharma/ Nycomed, Clinical Phase II candidate, discontinued 2007) on a 100 gram scale. Soraprazan is a potassium- competitive acid blocker (PCAB) for the treatment of peptic ulcer and acid related reflux diseases. |
